Visiting Pajong, collaborating with the local community
In 2015, the board went on a visit to meet the community and build relationships in what served as a strong foundation on the collaboration in place.
As a part of the visit in 2015, A project was planned based on materials collected during a pre-study in Uganda.
A 3 days workshop (19/3-21/3 2015) was held in Pajong Village, using the LFA-method with representatives/stakeholders from the local community at Pajong Loum Primary School.
The workshop dealt with identifying hindrances to access quality educations and building a problem tree as well as mapping the expected effects/risks/activities and a goal-tree.
Material was also collected from focus interviews with teachers, students (secondary school) and parents, together with relevant local and national authorities.
