The jury is done marking the essays!

The jury has had its say!

On July 8, the jury of the essay contest gathered  at JLOFU’s office in Kitgum to read and grade the essays. A total of 77 participants have submitted essays to this year’s contest!

The jury consisted of chairman Kitara Daniel and six English teachers from different schools in Kitgum Municipality. The jury was very pleased with the effort, creativity and writing skills shown by the contestants in their essays.

The marking exercise was a wonderful experience to JLOFU staffs as well as members of the Jury as they learnt and left with valuable knowledge about JLOFU as an organization and its operations which was massively appreciated by the jury. The exercise also presented JLOFU staffs with an opportunity to network.

Winners and date of the award ceremony will be announced soon – stay tuned!
